His occupation was Painter when he enlisted at Bangalow in October 1916 and served in the 15th Battalion A.I.F. Ross left Sydney on the 'Beltana' 25 November 1916 and arrived England January 1917. His brother Albert Henry Loveday (Private 423) (b. 1893 Woonona NSW) Died of sickness at sea 17 July, 1915. Private Ross LOVEDAY was admitted to Devonport Military Hospital 30 January 1917 with Tubercular Meningitis and died at 7.30pm on the 22 February age 17. |
